A Texas roper lived up to his name and put it in the Cheyenne Frontier Days record books on Monday shaving a half-second off the tie-down roping arena record. Sterling Smith finished in 9.4 seconds like it was just another day at the office working with his 10-year-old horse known as Pepto. Smith says a lot of care and preparation is put into each calf at Cheyenne.
