Cheyenne Police Chief Brian Kozak says his agency has been working closely with Cheyenne Frontier Days officials  to address public drunkenness and other alcohol-related issues at Frontier Park. Kozak says over the past year police have worked with CFD officials on such topics as recognizing when people are drunk and should not be served alcohol and keeping juveniles from purchasing alcohol. Kozak says one noticeable difference at Frontier Park this year is that even those who are obviously old enough to legally drink are being asked for identification when purchasing alcohol. The chief says CFD officials have ''really stepped up to the plate" in addressing alcohol issues. Kozak says the emphasis on those issues should help reduce fighting and similar behavior sometimes associated with over consumption of alcohol.
