Have you ever wanted to learn first aid and CPR?

The Cheyenne Family YMCA is offering the American Red Cross CPR and Adult & Pediatric First Aid and AED certification class on Saturday, April 11, pre-registration is required. 

Participants in the class will learn how to respond in an emergency situation and will be taught skills that could help save someone's life. The class runs from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, at the Cheyenne Family YMCA.

The cost is $80 for YMCA members and $100 for guests. Pre-registration is required because space is limited. For more information or to register, call Christy at 634-9622, extension 14. All instructors have been trained and certified by the American Red Cross.

Those who attend will also learn about the basics of wound care, bleeding control, bandaging, recognizing the signs of a heart attack and what to do when someone is choking or stops breathing.
