If you're a bird and land lover, you'll want to mark your calendar for this Saturday, May 3. The Cheyenne High Plains Audubon Society, in conjunction with the Cheyenne Parks Department and Simon Contractors, invite you to clean up one of the most highly trafficked roads--by birds--in Cheyenne.

Those who would like to participate in this event should meet at the corner of South Industrial Road and Burlington Trail Road by 9 a.m. Saturday morning. Please be sure and bring sturdy work boots or footwear and gloves. Participants with rubber boots for wading, or a pick-up truck for hauling are welcomed. Trash bags will be provided.

Based on this brief history of the last few years, clean up time should last about 2 - 3 hours.
