Cheyenne Animal Shelter ‘Fur Ball’ April 6th

The Cheyenne Animal Shelter (A. Richards/TSM)

Tickets are still available for the Cheyenne Animal Shelter’s ”Fur Ball” fundraiser April 6th at Little America, according to shelter director Bob Fecht.

He says this year’s event will include dinner provided by Little America, a live auction, and a casino around the theme of ”the Dirty Dog Saloon”. Fecht says the event is the main fundraiser for the shelter, which receives about 3/4 of it’s funding from local governments.

Fecht says the event helps cover the remaining 1/4 shelter’s operating expenses, adding the shelter typically takes in about 7000 animals a year. Tickets for the fur ball are available at the fur ball website.
