Whether it's a ham and cheese sandwich or a good, old fashioned cheese quesadilla, cheese goes with so many things. However, plastic is not one of those things. The Kraft Heinz Company has put out a recall on their Single American Cheese slices and White American pasteurized cheese product with a "Best When Used By" date of December 29, 2015 through January 4, 2016.

The company says some of the problem is that the plastic that wraps the cheese is still lodged within the product after it has been unwrapped and could cause a choking hazard and should not eat them.

If you have purchased this product, you may take it back to the store you bought the cheese from for an exchange or full refund. You may also call Kraft Heinz consumer hot line at 1-800-432-3101.
