To say the game was physical does it no justice. In another defensive slug fest, the Wyoming Cowboys out-lasted the Fresno State Bulldogs 55-51 in overtime Saturday at the Arena-Auditorium. The Cowboys out-scored Fresno State 14-2 over the final 8:20 of game action, including the overtime period.
It's the off-season for NCAA football - you know, that minute of time between National Signing Day and Spring Training - whereby the NCAA rules committee comes together for their annual meeting of the minds to determine if any changes to the existing rules should be made. It marked the sixth straight win for UW in conference play. Sewell led four Cowgirls in double figures, as she recorded her ninth double-double this season with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

University of Wyoming head football coach Dave Christensen announced Wednesday new coaching and administrative responsibilities for members of his football staff, including the official hiring of three new assistant coaches. One of the key changes is that Christensen will call the plays on game day for the Pokes.
