Sobey’s 3 at the Buzzer Propels Cowboys Past Lehigh, 67-66

Nathan Sobey buried a 3-pointer from the deep left corner off a pass from Josh Adams at the buzzer, and the Wyoming Cowboys topped the Lehigh Mountain Hawks 67-66 in the first round of the CBI Tuesday night at the Arena-Auditorium. The Pokes rallied from a 7-point deficit with five minutes left and closed the game on a 10-2 run for the stunning victory.

Wyoming Cowgirls Host WNIT First Round Game Thursday

The Wyoming Cowgirls are back in the post-season in 2013. For the seventh time in school history, UW received an invitation to the Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) on Monday evening. Wyoming will host the Northern Colorado Bears, on Thursday, March 21, in a WNIT First Round Game at 7 p.m. This is the fifth time in the last eight years Wyoming has made an appearance in the WNIT.
