Tickets are still available for the Cheyenne Animal Shelter's ''Fur Ball'' fundraiser April 6th at Little America, according to shelter director Bob Fecht.
He says this year's event will include dinner provided by Little America, a live auction, and a casino around the theme of ''the Dirty Dog Saloon''

Stock:School Safety Study Focusing On Three Areas
Laramie County School District#1 Superintendent Mark Stock says a new statewide task force studying school safety will focus on three different areas.
Stock, who is a member of the task force, says the first area will be building safety itself, including such things as cameras, door buzzers and general monitoring of who is coming and going from school buildings
House Fire Causes 20k in Damage
Laramie County Fire District#2 firefighters were called to a house fire at 2509 Champion Drive around 11am Thursday, according to district#2 spokesman Lew Simpson.
He says several people had called 911 to report the side of the house was on fire and the rest of the home was threatened
