Two people were arrested last week after the Wyoming Department of Family Services received reports of methamphetamine use at a house while several children were at home.

Amanda R. Bagwell, 30, and Adam J. Mall, 33, were each arrested Monday, Jan. 31, on five counts of endangering children with methamphetamine.

Court documents say Natrona County Sheriff's deputies were called to the home after Department of Family Services workers reported the accusations.

Deputies arrived to find Bagwell, Mall, another woman and four children. Three other children lived in the house but were not home when officers arrived, according to charging documents.

Bagwell gave a urine sample which tested positive for methamphetamine, according to the affidavit. Mall allegedly refused to give a sample but admitted to using methamphetamine.

Mall also reportedly showed deputies his bedroom and handed over two used methamphetamine pipes as well as one used marijuana pipe.

A warrant was authorized some time later, and deputies searched the home. They allegedly found a black backpack belonging to Mall. Inside the backpack, deputies reportedly found various drug paraphernalia including a used methamphetamine pipe.

Bagwell allegedly admitted to using meth two or three times inside her vehicle during the previous three days. She reportedly said Mall was with her each time she used.

Mall allegedly told investigators he used meth five or six times. Some of those were with Bagwell, but in other instances Mall used methamphetamine in a bathroom inside the home while children were asleep.

The third adult who was at the home when deputies arrived said she didn't know about the methamphetamine.

Court documents say investigators found no drugs inside the home in the area of the woman. There was no evidence that the woman knew Mall and Bagwell allegedly had and were using methamphetamine.
