What would have been the end of a typical Thursday at the Bubbles-R-Us laundromat in Evansville, changed dramatically at 5:30 PM.

A car veered off Highway 26 at high speed, caromed off of another vehicle parked in front of the building, and smashed into the store itself.

Virtually the entire car ended up inside the laundromat.

The video of the crash is frightening, and despite being in the path of the car, the store manager, and a couple of customers were injured, but not seriously.

The driver was a 38-year-old male, and he was taken to the hospital but later released.

Evansville Police are investigating whether the accident was the result of a medical incident, or possibly drugs or alcohol.

The investigation is ongoing, and the driver’s name has not been released.
