A candidate forum focusing on Wyoming gubernatorial and Secretary of State candidates is slated for Thursday night a the Cheyenne Hills Church.

Event organizer M. Lee Hasenauer says that although the two state races will be highlighted, he expects candidates for a number of local offices to attend as well, including those running for legislature, Laramie County Commission and Cheyenne City Council. Hasenauer  says that he organized the event as a private citizen rather than in his capacity as a Laramie County Commissioner.

The event will open with a “meet and greet” from 5 p.m. until 6:30. Hasenauer says that will be followed with a formal question and answer session from 6:30 until 9 p.m.
