UPDATE: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Albany County with a severe storm located near Bosler, 21 miles north of Laramie, but headed southeast at 15-to-20 mph.

UPDATE: The National Weather Service issued a new warning until 7 p.m. for a second tornado spotted 12 miles northeast of Laramie near Baldy Peak. That was going east at 15 mph.

UPDATE: The National Weather Service has extended the tornado warning to 6:30 PM.

A tornado was spotted 9 miles north of Laramie at approximately 5:43 PM. The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for southeastern Albany County to be in effect until 6:15 PM MST. This storm may include half-dollar sized hail, flying debris, and hazardous conditions.

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.
