Boys&Girls Club Making Progress on New Location

(Frazer Harrison/getty)

Officials with the Cheyenne Boys and Girls Club says progress is being made on a new location for the club in south Cheyenne.

Rolinda Sample, Chief Professional Officer for the club, says materials for the club’s new gym arrived on Thursday. She says the club is planning on bussing club members from the current clubhouse locationa at 1700 Snyder to the new site at Jefferson and Walterscheid this summer to use the gum and other recreational facilities.

Sample says the plan is to eventually move the entire club to the south Cheyenne location. But she says when that happens largely depends on how long it takes to raise the remaining  $2 Million needed to build a new clubhouse and complete other work at the new site.
