The Cheyenne Boys & Girls Club has announced a fundraising drive to get the final $1 million it needs to finish work on it's new location at 515 West Jefferson Road.

That's what club officials say they need to complete work on a new clubhouse as well as take care of some start up costs. An anonymous donor has agreed to match donations of $5,000 or more

The club had been housed on Snyder Avenue for several years before moving to West Jefferson earlier this year. They are currently operating in the new gym  until the clubhouse is finished, and spokeswoman Baylie Evans says they are hoping to finish up that work and move into the clubhouse by the end of this year.

The Cheyenne Boys & Girls Club has 500 members with another 100 on the waiting list, but officials say they could double their membership capacity once the clubhouse is finished.
