Boys and Girls Club Taking Registrations
Cheyenne Boys And Girls club spokeswoman Baylie Evans says the club is now taking registrations for the upcoming school year.
Evans says the club is open every afternoon from 2 until 7 on school days, offering snacks and help with schoolwork. She says the club also offers a variety of programs in areas ranging from cooking to art to career and leadership development, among others.
Evans says memberships are $10 and are good through the calendar year, meaning a membership purchased now would be valid though December 31, 2013. She also says LCDS#1 buses will be available from some local schools to the club this coming school year. The club will operate buses bring in kids from other schools, at a cost of $20 per month.
Evans says registration forms are available at the club at 1700 Snyder Avenue.
