BLM Releases Environmental Assessment for Oil Shale/Tar Sands [AUDIO]

The Bureau of Land Management has published the notice of availability of the Draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement and possible land use amendments for allocation of oil shale and tar sands resources on lands administered by the BLM in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. A group planning an Independent Presidential Candidate online has submit a petitions to the Wyoming Secretary of State for a spot on the November ballot. Doug Randall reports.
