BLM Holds Public Meetings on Draft Historic Preservation Protocol
The Bureau of Land Management Wyoming (BLM) is seeking public comment on the draft revised Protocol between BLM Wyoming and the Wyoming State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO). The Protocol addresses how Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) is implemented for BLM undertakings in the State of Wyoming.
Public meetings to discuss this document will be held on the following dates, times and locations:
October 28th, Casper 4-7 pm Casper Field Office
October 29th, Worland 4:30-7 pm University of Wyoming Extension
November 4th, Rock Springs 4-7 pm Rock Springs Field Office
Representatives of both BLM and SHPO will be present to explain the purpose of the document and to answer any questions the public may have. Written comments on this document will be accepted at these meetings.
