Beware of Dangerous Icicles Hanging Over Your Head

Are there icicles hanging from your roof?

With abundant sunshine in Cheyenne today, icicles grew longer and longer off the edges of windows and roof tops. Temperatures were still below freezing though, so those long shiny daggers will not be gone any time soon.

Be careful as you're walking below overhangs, as the heat from the sun can loosen those icicles...causing them to come crashing down on you.

The forecast for the remainder of this week calls for colder temperatures... so we'll most likely be seeing less icicles and more of our breath.
