CODY, Wyo. (AP) — An autopsy has determined a man whose decapitated body was found in a rural area of northwestern Wyoming likely died two days before his discovery.

The Park County Sheriff's Office is seeking information about the identity of the man whose dismembered body was found Thursday by a hunter along the Little Sand Coulee Road, northwest of the town of Powell.

The forensic pathologist estimates the time of death to be last Tuesday. The exact cause of death is still under investigation.

A forensic pathologist reports the victim was approximately 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6 and weighed between 180 and 200 pounds. The victim was less than 35 year of age and appears to have been an agricultural or ranch worker. Authorities say the man was of "stocky" build and in good physical condition.
