House Speaker John Boehner has thrown in a plug for Daniels, as if Boehner has any shred of credibility left after his complete surrender to Obama on the federal budget. No doubt Daniels can expect more such support from other entrenched Washington “conservatives,” who invariably “know better” than the average grassroots rube.
The Republican figure confirmed his long-awaited announcement on Wednesday in a video posted to YouTube, in which he said, "I believe we can return America to hope and opportunity ... There's a much better American future ahead."
As we were heading down to breakfast this morning, we walked by the Sesame Street character breakfast. The kids inside were having a blast, dancing with Elmo and hugging Cookie Monster. The little ones were bouncing around, elated to sit down for a meal with their favorite characters. There are various shows and activities to do throughout the day with Sesame Street, like finding the letter of the day with Grover, exercising with Elmo and looking for rubber duckies with Ernie.
The highlight of the cruise was lying on the "trampoline" on the front, a series of criss-crossed ribbons that form a webbing with nothing but ocean several feet beneath, and being splashed as the catamaran crested the waves. We also stopped for a while to swim in the ocean, which was surprisingly warm, and even found a starfish and several sea urchins by diving down to the bottom. On the short ride back to the resort, the crew taught us some Jamaican dancing, and the DJ mixed in a few fun American songs for us to enjoy.
Throughout all of this, “business as usual” Republicans are again proving to be Obama’s biggest allies. Perpetually living in fear of scorn and ridicule from the “mainstream” media, they squander their political capital in a futile effort to stay in the good graces of the so-called political “center” (as it has been defined by the left) while flippantly disparaging or trivializing the conservative base.

Melson, criticized the Director for failing to produce any documents in response to a subpoena issued more almost a month ago on March 31.
