And this is particularly unfortunate because their naive determination to remaining fixed on “the issues,” with no effort to directly confront the fraudulent and duplicitous nature of the individuals on the left, leaves them at a total disadvantage when seeking to contrast themselves against the ostensible bliss of a liberal/socialist America.

Police Nab Burglary Suspects
Two Cheyenne residents were arrested Friday morning on burglary charges. Sgt Rob Dafoe says at about 12:25 a.m. officers were called to a home on Forest Drive regarding a burglary in progress. The homeowner had been sleeping in a lower level but was awakened by the sound of a door opening. She went upstairs to find an unknown person standing in the entry way holding a flashlight.

Cheyenne Animal Shelter Says Rescued Cats Need New Home
Two cats that were seized from a home near Carpenter last month need the community to rally behind them and save their lives. Two of the four cats that were rescued by the Cheyenne/Laramie County Animal Control from terrible conditions at the home tested positive for Feline Leukemia. Cheyenne Animal Shelter spokeswoman Baylie Evans says the cats are Playful Bug, a 1-year-old male black and white Domestic Short Hair, and Snuggle Bug, a 4-year-old male orange Domestic Short Hair. The shelter is looking for special homes for these two cats.

Wyoming Cowboys Wrap up 2011 Spring Practice
The Wyoming Cowboy football team will wrap up 2011 spring drills on Saturday, April 9 with the annual Brown and Gold game. Saturday’s game will kick off at 2 p.m., and will include four, 12-minute quarters with a running clock up until the final two minutes of each half. The Brown and Gold game is free and open to the public. It is scheduled to be played in War Memorial Stadium. In case of inclement weather, the game will be moved to Wyoming’s Indoor Practice Facility.
