Cheyenne Police Chief Brian Kozak says local police arrested 7 people on Monday in connection with a regional methamphetamine investigation in southeast Wyoming and Colorado.

Laramie County School District#1 Superintendent Mark Stock says a new statewide task force studying school safety will focus on three different areas.
Stock, who is a member of the task force, says the first area will be building safety itself, including such things as cameras, door buzzers and general monitoring of who is coming and going from school buildings
Laramie County Fire District#2 firefighters were called to a house fire at 2509 Champion Drive around 11am Thursday, according to district#2 spokesman Lew Simpson.
