The Arch Coal Foundation has kicked off it’s annual Arch Coal Teacher Achievement Awards program for this year.

The program, which is in it’s 14th year in Wyoming, recognizes outstanding teachers with a $3,500 personal cash award as well as widespread recognition. Arch Coal Foundation spokeswoman Kim Link says nominees must have at least three years of teaching experience  and be a current classroom teacher.

Link says nominations can be submitted online. She also says the deadline for nominating a teacher is January 6, 2014.
