A 28-year-old Cheyenne man could face up to 22 years in prison after allegedly selling methamphetamine to a confidential informant.

Autry Bowman made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court this (Tuesday) morning.

Bowman is charged with delivery of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of heroin.

According to court documents, a confidential informant with the Cheyenne Police Department bought 1.7 grams of meth from Bowman on November 9.

The confidential informant had told detectives that he/she bought meth from Bowman on a regular basis and that Bowman distributed large quantities of meth to people for redistribution.

On March 31, police arrested Bowman on a warrant for delivery of methamphetamine. Detectives say Bowman had 0.4 grams of heroin on him at the time.

Bowman was also arrested on a warrant for failure to comply on the original charges of possession of methamphetamine and interference with a peace officer.

When interviewed, Bowman reportedly admitted he'd been distributing meth since June of 2016.

Bowman is currently being held in the Laramie County Jail on $10,000 cash bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 13.
