All LCSD#1 After School Activities Cancelled

No more school closures are slated for today (Tuesday December 15) in Laramie County School District#1, according to spokeswoman Mary Quast.

But she says all after school meetings, practices and other activities are cancelled due to the winter storm that has rocked the area. Three rural elementary schools in the District-Gilchrist, Clawson and Willadsen--were closed because of the storm.

Quast said the decision to cancel after school activities was reached after district officials consulted with officials from the National Weather Service as well as the City of Cheyenne and Laramie County
