No doubt there are decisions we have made or family outings that you wished you had planned differently. Here are some activities that mom's wished they'd done differently.  Today on the Top 5 at 7:45 I'll highlight what some mom's have stated that they would have done differently with their kids, if they had the chance to do it over again, according to statements made at scarymommy.com.

  1. They would not own a hamster - The mess and the stress far outweighs the "blessings" of having rodent inhabit your dwelling.
  2. No Disney World - Taking a family trip with a 3 and 5 year old is not the best idea. Running from ride to ride with toddlers makes for more work than vacation.
  3. Sports way to early - They wouldn't enroll their kids in sports until they were at least 6 years old. Under 6 may discourage them from prolonging their "sports career."
  4. Avoid the Baby Einstein video craze - Learning colors and animals didn't pay out in elementary schools. Some mom's want their money back.
  5. Spending lots of money on music and gym classes - Paying big bucks for their 2 years old to learn how to slam into a ball pit or banging on a xylophone.
