F.E. Warren Air Force Base will conduct an exercise this evening (Oct. 22nd) that may involve simulated gunfire as well as the use of ground blast simulators.

Military installations conduct various exercises throughout the year in order to ensure mission and personnel readiness. According to Warren Public Affairs, people living on or around the base may see plumes of smoke and hear loud noises to include explosions from the simulated devices.

The event is closed to the public in order for exercise participants to meet scenario objectives.
