If your "glory years" were in the '80s, then you remember a time of new fashion, cool music, ray bans and great national economics. But what don't we miss about it? The '80s were a time of Swatch watches, leg warmers, bright colors and new wave music. But looking back, I must say that there are some things about the '80s that I certainly don't miss.

Here are five things about the greatest decade in my life time that, frankly, I really have been able to live without.

  1. Over The Shoulder Sweaters - It seems like guys, both young and old, could be seen sporting a sweater over the shoulders of an Izod or LeTigre shirt. Don't miss that style.
  2. Shoulder Pads - Many of the women's dresses and blouses had those crazy shoulder pads. Then, after much use, they'd end up missing one somewhere and would find their self "robbing Peter to pay Paul," so-to-speak.
  3. Leg Warmers - I didn't wear them myself; However, I don't miss seeing women walking around with them on.
  4. Rat Tails & Mullets - Never really sported the mullet; However I did have a rat tail. Thankfully, I've ditched the rat tail.
  5. Member's Only Jackets - Although popular at the time, to really cool now. I think I may have had an imitation jacket at one time.

As rockin' as the '80s were, I'm sure there are some things you don't miss either. Maybe, big hair, neon or parachute pants? If you want to add to the list, please do so in the comments section below.
