Two Arcata, California men are facing felony drug charges after a Wyoming trooper found 30 pounds of marijuana in their car.

According to an affidavit, 37-year-old Roberto Galan Cruz and 39-year-old Juan M. Ortega Santos were pulled over for speeding and making an abrupt lane change on Interstate 80 west of Cheyenne Thursday.

The traffic stop led to a search of the car and 30 vacuum sealed bags of marijuana were found in a duffel bag in the trunk. Four cell phones were also found in the car.

Galan Cruz and Ortega Santos were arrested and charged with felony possession of marijuana and possession with intent to deliver marijuana. If convicted, they could each face up to 15 years in prison.

The two are currently being held in the Laramie County jail on $10,000 cash bonds. Their preliminary hearings are scheduled for Oct. 5 at 11 a.m.
